My Story:

I’ve always been passionate about business and helping others succeed. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I earned an MBA and spent 15 years in the corporate world, leading many as an Engineer. However, I chose to leave everything behind to become a wife and stay-home mom, first in Canada, then Malaysia, Texas, and now living temporarily on a remote island in St. John’s, NL, Canada.

The Journey:

My entrepreneurial journey began in 2017 with Colorful4u, an online store born out of my passion for creating vibrant and unique products and supporting artisan women. With no prior experience in e-commerce, I was determined to turn my dream into a reality. Through dedication, learning, and a lot of hard work, I successfully grew Colorful 4u into a thriving online business. My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the belief that anyone can achieve their goals with the right guidance and tools. Having an online business has allowed me to work from everywhere and pivot as needed.

In the early days, I struggled with balancing market pop-ups, family commitments, and learning the ropes of online business. However, I quickly realized the importance of leveraging digital marketing to expand my reach. I focused on building a strong social media presence, growing my email list, and mastering SEO techniques and other marketing strategies. Within a year, I transitioned fully online, allowing me to double my income annually and create a flexible schedule that suited my lifestyle.

I founded Women Biz Academy to provide aspiring and current women entrepreneurs with the practical knowledge and strategies I wish I had when I started.
